Made In USA. Angelus Duller is an additive designed to reduce the glossiness of Angelus leather paints, giving them a more matte or satin finish. This is particularly useful if you want to create a more subdued, non-shiny look on your leather projects. We recommend mixing no more than 5-8% duller into your paint solution.

The amount of Duller you use depends on how matte you want the finish to be. A typical starting point is 1 part Duller to 4 parts paint (a 1:4 ratio).

You can adjust this ratio to achieve the desired level of dullness. More Duller will result in a flatter, more matte finish.

HOW TO USE:
Mix the Paint and Duller:

1. Pour the desired amount of Angelus leather paint into a mixing cup or onto a palette.

2. Add the Angelus Duller to the paint according to the ratio you’ve chosen.

3. Mix thoroughly using a stirring stick or tool until the Duller is fully integrated into the paint. The mixture should be smooth and consistent.

4. Use a paintbrush or airbrush to apply the paint mixture to your leather item.

5. Apply the paint in thin, even coats. Multiple thin layers will provide better control over the finish.

6. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next one.

7. After the paint has dried, check the finish to see if it’s as matte as you want it. If it’s still too glossy, you can mix and apply another coat with more Duller added.
